The Struggle is Real: A Homeschooling, Businesswoman Momma's Diary
Hey there, it's me, Tamara - your friendly neighborhood homeschooling mom of three, fitness guru, massage therapist, and all-around #GirlBoss trying to juggle it all. If anyone gets how insanely hard it is to keep all those balls in the air, it's yours truly.
From the second my eyes open until that blissful moment my head hits the pillow, it's a non-stop whirlwind. There are lunchboxes to pack, kiddos to teach, a business to run, and a million other demands vying for my attention and energy. Not to mention trying to be an emotionally-present wife to my hubby, even though our last real date night was on my birthday (which was, um, months ago...).
Juggling the roles of mom, teacher, entrepreneur, wife, and everything in between is a delicate dance that often leaves me feeling like I'm being pulled in a million directions. Heck, by the end of the day, those precious 10 seconds of "me time" are about all I can muster!
But you know what? In those fleeting moments of calm, I've discovered a simple secret to self-care: the art of doing nothing. Yup, you read that right - taking a few minutes to simply breathe and be present, without an agenda or a to-do list weighing me down.
Maybe it's sipping my coffee in sweet silence while the kiddos are engrossed in their latest obsession. Or stealing away to my favorite cozy nook for a meditation sesh (who am I kidding...it's usually a desperate attempt at a power nap!). But those tiny oases of calm remind me that I'm human, that the world won't stop spinning if I'm not "on" for a hot minute.
Will a few mindful moments magically solve the chaos? Of course not! But it's a start - a chance to reset, recharge, and tackle this beautiful mess we call #MomLife with a bit more zen. And hey, every little bit counts when you're a busy momma!
